Jon Anderson, husband and father of two, especially enjoys running sound and lights for weddings, theater, and live musicians.  Outside of that, he enjoys mountain biking, board games, listening to music, and volunteering with the fine arts department at his children’s school. He is rarely caught without his signature ivy cap hat.

Jon got his start with lights, audio, music, and acting through participating in his high school plays. While still in high school, he also began interning at a small professional theater company where he did everything from non-technical jobs like selling tickets and concessions to running lighting and sound, working on the stage crew, and even performing on stage. Through the years, he worked as a DJ for friends and family at their weddings and special events.   More recently, he worked for a DJ event company with a focus on weddings.  After recognizing that his skills were being under-utilized there and that he could provide customers with a higher variety and quality of services independently, he struck out on his own and started Ivycap Entertainment in 2021.
